Melt filtering

Melt filtering

Since 1954, Nordson has been building GHG, formerly Kreyenborg , melt filters with the principle of a robust steel housing, in which 1 or 2 cylinders with 1 to 4 sieve cavities are placed. This principle works without seals and is therefore extremely maintenance-free. Output range from a few kilograms per hour to several tons per hour.

Different versions are possible, from discontinuous filters (the line has to stop at a filter change), to fully automatic melt filters that can be changed one by one during production.

For recycling applications we have the option of inline cleaning of the filter by rinsing, back flushing, with our own polymer. inline.

If you work with post-consumer material, our laser filter (HiCon R-Type) is the perfect solution. The filter basket is continuously scraped by 20 knives and the contamination is removed in a controlled manner. Pressure consistency, less wear on the blades and the basket than with comparable systems. Please contact Plastima Breda and ask us for a free test with your material!

Nordson designs and manufactures differentiated products used to dispense adhesives, coatings, sealants, biomaterials and other materials; for fluid management; for test and inspection; and for UV curing and plasma surface treatment. We support our products with application expertise and direct worldwide sales and service.
