Material handling

Material handling covers the transport, storage, drying and dosing of plastics: from granulate and regrind to flakes and powders. A well-designed material handling system ensures a constant material flow, better product quality, less downtime and a safer working environment.

For material handling, Plastima works exclusively with Plastic Systems, part of the Italian Pegaso Industries group. With more than 30 years of experience, Plastic Systems designs, manufactures and supplies machines and complete turn-key systems for the storage, conveying, dehumidification and dosing of granulate, flakes and powders in plastics processing.

Within material handling we distinguish four subcategories, each with its own page clearly presenting the full programme:

• Feeding & storage – hopper loaders, vacuum pumps, central feeding systems, silos, big bag unloading stations and octabin tilters
