Ultrasonic welding at Plastima

Ultrasonic welding joins thermoplastics using high-frequency mechanical vibrations. Molecular friction generates heat in the joint area: the material softens and melts, and after a short hold time under pressure the parts are permanently joined. The technique is fast, clean and hermetic, without adhesives or other consumables.
