Benchtop machines at Plastima
At a benchtop machine the operator loads the components by hand and removes them again after the weld cycle. Depending on size and geometry, one or more sonotrodes are used.
Plastima supplies the complete HiQ series from Herrmann Ultraschall — including sound insulation and safety enclosures — and tests the feasibility of your application in advance at the Tech Center in Breda.
HiQ P – highest precision at low weld forces

Welding sensitive components or materials calls for the lowest possible weld forces. The HiQ P is ideally suited to this: even at reduced force it delivers reproducible, strong and precise weld results. The intelligent weld process controller visualises every parameter graphically. That makes the process easy to optimise, reduces scrap and increases the efficiency of your production. Technical features:

HiQ S – flexibility for larger components

Thanks to its large working area the HiQ S suits both small and bulky components. A high degree of configurability and flexible control deliver an excellent user experience on the shop floor. The HiQ S is available with generator power up to 6200 W and weld forces up to 2490 N, making it suitable for demanding welding, insertion and staking applications. Technical features:

ULTRACELL – sound insulation for the HiQ series

ULTRACELL is an integrated sound insulation concept for the entire HiQ machine series. Particularly with 20 kHz applications, loud secondary noise can occur; the cabin reduces it to a safe level. Its compact, mobile design makes ULTRACELL widely usable in production and adds ergonomics and an optional automatic start for an efficient loading cycle alongside occupational safety. ULTRASAFE – a safe workstation in the smallest space

Occupational safety comes first. ULTRASAFE removes risks such as noise and unintended intervention in the work area without costing much floor space. Both versions can be placed directly on an existing work table and combined with any model in the HiQ range. The LC version works with a light curtain and automatic start; the SP version with a sound-insulating housing and lifting door. Technical features:
