Laser welding in your production line
An LPKF integration system is a complete welding machine that becomes a unit inside your production line: welding unit, optics, process monitoring and control cabinet are all part of it. Only the transport and, depending on the model, the clamping technology and workpiece carrier come from the line builder. After integration with the workpiece carrier the whole meets laser class 1.
Plastima guides the choice of machine, optics and power, and the coordination with your automation partner.
InlineWeld 6000 – compact integration machine
![]() |
The most compact machine in the InlineWeld series: a complete welding machine consisting of a welding unit with optics, scanner and f-theta lens plus a control cabinet with laser source and control unit. Suitable for quasi-simultaneous and contour welding. A flexible adapter plate lets the machine be mounted to virtually any production-line interface. Clamping technology and the workpiece carrier come from the line builder; LPKF supports that coordination. Technical features:

InlineWeld 6200 and 6400 – universal integration machine
![]() |
A complete, universally applicable laser welding machine for direct integration into production lines: welding unit, clamping module and separate control cabinet together form a working cell. Intended for smaller components and varying batch sizes. The InlineWeld 6400 is the same system with the larger 150 × 135 mm working field. Clamping technology, cylinder unit and component holder are all equipped with safety sensors; after integration with the workpiece carrier the whole meets laser class 1. The machine returns time and joining-path data to the line control. With the optional interface box it also runs stand-alone, without an MES. Technical features:

InlineWeld 3D 8000 – large 3D parts in the line
![]() |
The integration-ready version of the 3D 8000 system: the same technology as the stand-alone PowerWeld 3D 8000, but prepared for inclusion in an automated line with infeed and outfeed transport. For series production of large plastic parts such as battery modules, dashboards and tail lights. Here too LPKF Wobble-Weld gives an adjustable seam width of 1 to 5 mm with a homogeneous temperature distribution, eight servo drives clamp bottom-up up to 20 kN, and integrated melt travel monitoring safeguards quality. Technical features:

RadialWeld 2000 – compact head for radial and contour welding
![]() |
Very compact integration head for radial and contour welding, with a fixed optic that produces a defined spot size at a defined working distance. Unlike the InlineWeld machines this is deliberately not a complete cell: movement or rotation of the part is handled by the line builder. The head is supplied with an external control cabinet and mounts to the production line via a flexible adapter plate. Technical features:

RadialWeld 2200 – radial welding of cylindrical parts
![]() |
A fully functional welding system and successor to the InlineWeld 2000: a welding unit with a powerful laser source and a rotary arm that guides the beam around a stationary, rotationally symmetrical part. Developed for automated production lines, but equally usable stand-alone in production or laboratory environments. Besides cylindrical geometries the system handles oval and customer-specific shapes. Press-fit, tapered-fit and bridge joints are possible; the latter two require external force. An integrated pyrometer monitors and controls the welding process. Technical features:

InlineWeld 9000 – customer-specific systems
Modular base system for customer-specific configurations: from individual machine elements up to complete robot cells. Intended for production with high variance or an unusual manufacturing environment.
Laser power, clamping configuration and handling are assembled modularly. The system can also be configured as a stand-alone turn-key unit. Application examples include oil pans, microfluidic cartridges and parking brakes.
Technical features:
- For production processes with higher variance
- For unusual manufacturing environments
- Variable: from individual machine elements to complex robot islands
- High performance with the smallest possible space requirement
- Can also be configured as a stand-alone turn-key unit
LPKF publishes no standard specification table for the InlineWeld 9000; the configuration is determined per project.
