In both ultrasonic and laser welding the joint is created by heat in the joint area, without filler material. The result is a strong, clean and hermetic weld — essential in packaging, automotive, medical technology and electronics.

Which technique fits depends on the material, the geometry and the required cycle time. Ultrasonic welding is fast and versatile and also copes with filled materials; laser welding works without vibration and without particles, which suits sensitive or complex 3D components. At our Tech Center in Breda we test your application in advance and advise which route fits best.
