Continuously controlled dosing
Loss-in-weight dosing controls continuous extrusion processes based on actual weight loss per component.

Loss-in-weight dosing for extrusionIn loss-in-weight mode, each component is dosed simultaneously and continuously, with the materials mixing naturally before the single or twin screw extruder. This technique is widely used in extrusion. For small dosages, augers with brushless motors ensure accuracy and repeatability; for larger dosages, vibrating feeders with their own microprocessor control deliver a constant, stable material flow. The PLC is fully linked to the extruder controls and regulates the process in real time. Technical features:

Loss-in-weight dosing for powders and granulateFor accurate, continuous and fully controlled dosing of both powders and granulate, loss-in-weight dosing offers high precision and repeatability. The same system processes fine powders, coarse powders and free-flowing granulate — ideal for multi-material production lines. For less free-flowing powders, an integrated agitator ensures a constant, homogeneous material flow and prevents bridging, segregation and blockages. All product-contact parts are stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and easy cleaning; material consumption is monitored in real time. Technical features:
