History
Plastima Breda BV was founded in 1954 and has become an established name in the plastics processing industry. An enthusiastic team of 14 employees and our own service department guarantee sound advice and adequate handling of your projects.
We represent 20 renowned manufacturers, such as COLLIN Lab & Pilot Solutions, WEBER, Leistritz, Kreyenborg and Somos, and have been a Boy Benelux dealer since 2012.
With this wide range of A-brands, we supply machines and related products to the plastics processing industry, specialising in extrusion, injection moulding, recycling, R&D and other processes, such as cooling and laser welding.
Besides these A-brands, our extra value lies in our team of experienced product specialists who are regularly retrained to maintain the high level of knowledge and serve you even better.

as part of Barentz PlasticsPlastima Breda bv was founded in 1954 as part of Barentsz Kunststoffen in Breda. The first generation van den Bosch family and Boode family join.

1998
1998Relocation to new premises
naar Minervum 7436After Plastima held offices on Markendaalseweg in the centre of Breda for more than 30 years, it is time to move into an office of its own. New premises have been built at Minervum in Breda.

1999The second generation steps in:
Robbert van Den Bosch & Hans BoodeAfter the first generation did a buyout, the second generation took office. With this, the second generation takes over the company.

2007Creation of new business unit:
Plastima Used MachineryAs a demand for used machinery is emerging, Plastima has established the Plastima Used Machinery business unit. The focus of this unit is on buying and selling used machinery in the plastics and plastic industry.

2012Creation of new business unit:
BOY BeneluxPlastima has been awarded the exclusive dealership of renowned, German injection moulding brand Dr BOY in the BENELUX.

2014Creation of new business unit:
Plastima Deutschland GmbHAs an exclusive dealer of Krauss Maffei for sales in Germany, the Plastima Deutschland business unit was established.

2021Moving to new premises
to Minervum 7101After holding offices at Minervum 7436 for nearly 25 years, it is time for Plastima to take the next step. Hyper-modern premises were chosen to continue occupying the works. Sustainability and smart-working was the main reason here.

all business units, under one roofAfter establishing a business portfolio in which Plastima serves several aspects within the plastics processing industry, it was time to show this synergy to the outside world under the name: Plastima Group.
